1. Applicability
These General Terms and Conditions shall apply to all orders placed by customers via the online shop of Football Town USA whose trademark is owned by VF Town B.V., Herengracht 449 a , 1017 BR , Amsterdam, The Netherlands, whose U.S.-based trading company is Stegman's Enterprises, LLC
Our online-shop is hosted by Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you and process your payments via Shopify Payments, Paypal, Klarna, Coinbase, etc
2. Registration
2.1 Only customers who have properly and truthfully registered shall be permitted to make purchases at Football Town.
2.2 The creation of several accounts and their use by the same person is strictly prohibited.
2.3 Any type of commercial use for the purpose of resale of goods to third parties is likewise not permitted.
2.4 Violations of the above prohibitions may lead to immediate exclusion and the assertion of claims for damages by Football Town. Football Town may, in addition, limit the maximum delivery quantities per item and customer.
3. Contract conclusion
3.1 The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but merely an invitation to order.
3.2 Clicking the button “complete order” in the shopping basket shall be deemed a binding offer by the customer.
3.3 The automatically generated confirmation email shall document receipt of the order. A binding contractual relationship shall only arise upon Football Town confirming dispatch of the goods by email (shipping confirmation), but at the latest upon delivery of the goods.
3.4 If, while processing the order, Football Town finds that the products ordered by the customer are not available, the customer shall be informed by email. No contract over the unavailable goods shall be created.
4. Prices and shipping costs
4.1 The prices quoted in Football Town online shop at the time of ordering shall apply. The prices quoted do not include any applicable sales taxes, though those will be quoted before final purchase.
4.2 For shipping in the United States and U.S. territories, postage and packaging is free. For international orders, it is a separate charge. Exact shipping costs shall be displayed to the customer in the course of the ordering process. In exceptional cases and for special promotions shipping may be free of charge.
5. Terms and conditions of delivery
5.1 Delivery to the United States, U.S. Territories, Canada, and the Caribbean is available.
5.2 Warehouse goods are usually ready for dispatch, custom-made goods after two to three weeks.
5.3 However, claims for damages by the customer in the event that an order does not arrive by the requested or notified delivery date are excluded.
5.4 Should delivery of the goods fail through the customer’s fault, Football Town shall be entitled to withdraw from the contract. Any payments made shall be refunded without delay.
6. Payment terms
6.1 Payment may be made by Credit Card, Paypal or bank transfer. All credit card payments are processed via PayPal, Shopify Payments, Klarna or others as appropriate such as Coinbase for Crypto payments. Data is encrypted and transmitted to PayPal or Shopify Payments for processing.
6.2 Football Town may cancel or suspend an order if
(a) a customer is not or does not appear to be creditworthy,
(b) has been issued with more than one payment reminder,
(c) there are justified suspicions of dishonest intentions.
7. Returns
7.1 Returnable items may be returned to Football Town by post within 30 days of the invoice date. The goods must be returned new, unworn, unwashed and in their original condition, including label(s) and original packaging, and with the invoice. The costs of return postage shall be borne by the customer.
7.2 The right of return is excluded for the following products:
- Products such as leather goods, swimwear, underwear
- Products sold as part of a promotion (e.g. sale, special offers)
- Products labelled “This product is non-returnable”
The above products may be returned if they are defective, incomplete or in bad condition. In these cases Football Town shall endeavour to provide a replacement of the same value. Where this is not possible any payment already made shall be refunded.

7.3 Only refunds to store credits will be issued once the product has reached our warehouse and after its inspection. The cost of shipping, in the case of orders from Canada and the Caribbean, will not be refunded unless the customer requests an exchange for another product or size. In the case where we cannot exchange the product for a different size, orders which were prepaid by credit card shall be refunded to the credit card in the same currency as paid. In case of payment by Cryptocurrency, you will be refunded using U.S. dollars as the base currency for the price of the product (including VAT where applicable), converted into the Cryptocurrency at the current rate at the time of the refund.
We follow this process to ensure that the equivalent U.S. dollar amount you pay at time of purchase is also returned to you (in Crypto). Due to the volatility of Cryptocurrencies we do not refund at the rate in force at the time of purchase, this is to protect both you and us from any wild fluctuations in the Crypto rates. This could mean you receive more or less Cryptocurrencies than what was paid at the time of the transaction, however the equivalent U.S. dollar value will still be the same.
Please note that if an order carries various products and obtains a larger discount and free shipping, and then send back products, the initial entitlement to the volume discount and free shipping will be reversed when issuing the store credit or possible refund in case where the products cannot be exchanged.
Once a refund has been submitted, please allow 2-4 business days for the refund to be processed.
7.4 Football Town reserves the right to refuse returns in cases where the order process is abused (e.g. ordering different sizes of one article for trying on). Volume discounts will be reversed when items are returned.
7.5 In cases where orders are lost by the carrier, we will not be able to refund these orders but can only resend the order instead.
8. Retention of title
The goods shall remain the property of Football Town until full payment has been made.
9. Redemption of coupon codes
9.1 Coupon codes shall be redeemable for orders above the minimum order value stated on the coupon.
9.2 No more than one coupon code may be used for each order.
9.3 Coupon codes shall be valid for the time period stated.
9.4 Coupon codes may not be transferred to third parties.
9.5 Coupon codes may not be offset retrospectively against an order.
9.6 Coupon code credits shall not be paid out in cash or earn interest.
10. Data protection
10.1 Football Town shall only store data which is required for the purposes of customer service.
10.2 In order to create a customer account, customers will be required to provide personal data. This includes first name, last name, email address, addresses and telephone number. The information labelled with an asterisk is necessary for the processing of orders. The provision of additional personal data is voluntary and is used to create a customer profile. This is used by Football Town for the purposes of data processing, administration of customer accounts and for marketing, for example the personalised sending of newsletters if the customer wishes to receive these.
10.3 Football Town uses cookies. However, these are merely used for storing customer transactions and facilitating the customer’s future visits and purchases. Cookie permissions may be changed in the security settings of the customer’s browser.
10.4 Football Town uses Google Analytics to enable analysis of website usage. This generates anonymised analyses and diagrams. Google Analytics is used merely for the purposes of Football Town’s own market research and for anonymised remarketing measures in order to adapt the design of the website optimally to customer requirements.
10.5 No personal data are transferred to third parties without the customer’s knowledge, except for data which has to be transmitted in order to implement orders, handle and control payments, carry out credit checks, and perform statistical analyses.
10.6 User details may be changed at any time in “My account” – “Edit your account information”. Addresses can be changed in “My account” – “Modify your address book entries”
10.7 Information we receive from you helps us to continually improve your shopping experience and create a customer-friendly and individual experience. Both the information transmitted by you and the information that is automatically generated is used to design advertising which is relevant to you and your interests. For this purpose we use existing information, such as email delivery and read receipts, information on the computer and Internet connection, operating system and platform, your order history, your service history, date and time of website visit, and products you have viewed. We use this information exclusively in pseudonymised form. Analysis and appraisal of this information enables us to improve our website and Internet offering, and to send you individual advertising. This means advertising which recommends products which you may actually be interested in. We aim to make our advertising more useful and interesting to you, so the appraisal and analysis of the pseudonymised data collected from you helps us to avoid sending you arbitrary advertising. Rather, we will send you advertising such as newsletters or product recommendations by email or post which match your areas of interest. For this purpose we also, for example, compare which marketing emails you open to avoid sending you unnecessary emails.
11. Changes to the General Terms and Conditions
These General Terms and Conditions may change. We therefore state the date of the last amendment. Version 1: 01.01.2022
